At the Brownell CLC, we operate with the following purpose:
For the child:
- To provide opportunities for being with other children in a setting conducive to the development of wholesome relationships.

All opportunities are structured to meet each child’s individual needs, interests and abilities and provide important foundations for future skills.
For the parent/guardian:
- To provide opportunities to meet with and work with other parents who have as their common concern the interests and needs of their children.
- To provide opportunities for child/parent engagement and support which contribute to the strengthening of the family and neighborhood.
Students participating in Brownell CLC programs are expected to:
- Respect self and others.
- Accept responsibility for their behavior.
- Follow directions.
