Enrollment in Student Programs
- Parents are required to go through the enrollment and
orientation process with the Saratoga CLC site supervisor
OR Family Service Child Care staff prior to a student’s
enrollment in the Kindergarten Wraparound or After School
(SEAL Club) programs.
- Students participating in other programs or clubs (SMART,
Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.) must have a completed CLC
enrollment form turned in to the site supervisor.
- Payment Procedures apply to students in Kindergarten Wraparound
and SEAL Club.
Payment Procedures
- The weekly rate is established and reviewed yearly. Grant
applications are available upon request, and Title XX is
accepted for families who qualify.
- Child care payments are due on the first day of each
week prior to programming. Failure to pay may result in
a disruption in service or dismissal from the program unless
special arrangements are made with the Site Supervisor.
- There will be a slotted lock box at the parent table for
parents to deposit checks or money orders. If cash is used
as payment, this must be placed in a sealed envelope, with
the child’s name and school clearly printed on the
envelope.
Absences/Holidays/Non-School Days
- Parents are responsible for paying the full weekly fee
regardless of absences, holidays, or non-school days.
- The center will be closed on the following holidays: New
Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day and the following day, and Christmas Day. If a holiday
falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the center will be closed
on the preceding Friday or the following Monday. If you
require programming for your child during non-school days
(other than the holidays listed above), check with your
site supervisor to learn which sites will offer programming
during those non-school days. If Saratoga is not offering
programming during a specific school break, then another
site in this part of town will be, and you may choose to
send your child to that site.
- Registration for care on non-school days for students
enrolled in the after school program takes place in advance
of non-school days or weeks. Non-school day/week registration
forms must be turned in, along with the non-school day payment
by the date specified on the registration form to your site
supervisor.
GED Registration
* Persons interested in the GED Program at Saratoga
need to contact the Adult Basic Education Program office at
Southeast Community College at 437-2717. All registrations
must go through that office prior to attending GED classes.
Fees for various programs and activities vary. However, most
programs offered allow parents to apply for a grant to help
with fees. (Grant forms can be downloaded from this site).
A sliding fee scale is used for determining
family costs for the after school program. Title XX is accepted
for qualified families.
School-age full-day programs are offered during
the school breaks in October and March. The weekly cost for
these programs is $30 or $50 per child, depending on family
income.
* Fees listed are based on family income,
and apply only to families who have completed and turned in
a grant application.
