1) One success story at Lakeview CLC deals with a second
grade boy. This boy started the year with many behavior problems
such as, constantly touching peers, not following directions,
being disruptive during homework time, and being disrespectful
to staff, resulting in think times. This boy would often tell
us he hated CLC and didn’t want to come any longer.
He now has very few think times; he asks staff when he needs
help with homework or in an enrichment center. And recently,
his mom told us that we must be a lot of fun since he and
several others often ask their parents if they can stay longer.
