Lea Ann Johnson is co-coordinator of the Community Learning
Centers of Lincoln Public Schools, a position she has held
for eight years. Since 1980 she has worked with a number of
youth and family serving organizations in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was executive director for the Cedars Home for Children,
program director for Family Service Association, and regional
director for Lutheran Family Services. Johnson has a Master
of Science degree in family and consumer science, with a focus
on marriage and family therapy. Johnson has a deep commitment
to the children and families in Lincoln.
Cathie Petsch

Cathie Petsch, co-coordinator of Lincoln’s Community
Learning Centers, began her career as educator with the Lincoln
Public Schools as a technical writer for a federal technology
grant in 1968. After teaching Journalism at Lincoln Northeast,
she returned to LPS’s Office of Business Affairs as
a computer network coordinator. Elected twice to the Lincoln
Board of Education, she served three terms as president. In
1989 Petsch was appointed Assistant Superintendent for Business
in suburban School District 145. In addition to a Masters
in Public Administration, Cathie has earned 39 hours of Doctoral
Studies in Educational Leadership.
